Asomex AT is a medication used to treat hypertension and is composed of two different drugs; Amlodipine besylate and Olmesartan medoxomil.
It belongs to the group of medicines called angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) that helps joints relax for easy blood flow, thus reducing the amount of hypertension.
Uses
Asomex AT tablet is used for controlling high blood pressure levels, decreasing chest pain associated with coronary artery disease and helps in improving survival after heart attack.

How it works
Asomex AT tablets contain two active ingredients; amlodipine besylate and olmesartan medoxomil both belonging to Angiotensin II receptor antagonist class of medicinal products which work together by blocking angiotensin responses.
So as to cause dilation of blood vessels increasing blood flow while reducing aldosterone action of retaining salt and water by kidneys resulting in decreased pressure over them eventually causing normalization of the increased BP.
