• This medicine is used to treat HIV infection in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. It helps slow down the rate at which HIV-infection spreads to other parts of the body, prevent AIDS, reduce hospitalizations due to opportunistic infections and improve quality of life in people living with HIV/AIDS.


• Taking Efonat Tablets as prescribed can help reduce virus levels in your blood (viral load). This reduces the chance you will pass HIV on to someone else.

It also prevents symptoms related to AIDS such as fatigue, lack of appetite and night sweats. Furthermore, it boosts energy levels allowing people with HIV/AIDS to stay active longer during daily activities.
